This is to notify you that your tender dated 15-05-2013 for the execution of the Works for (i) Improvement of Saghata GC- Mohimagonj GC road (2500m-8300m) UZR , Upazila-Saghata , Road ID-132882008 & (ii) Improvement of Salmara UP at Railway Station - Kochasahar bazar Rd. (Ch:2050m-6160m)UNR, Upazila-Gobindagonj, Road ID-132303018, Tender No.28/2012-2013, Package No. LGED/SRIIP/GBD/W-080 for the Contract Price of Tk.8,89,23,830.04 (Taka eight crore eighty nine lac twenty three thosuand eight hundred thirty and paisa zero four only) as corrected and modified in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, has been approved by the Project Director, Sustainable Rural Infrastructure Development Project vide memo no.LGED/PD/ SRIIP/137.2012/1477, date: 02-12-2013.

You are thus requested to take following actions:

i. accept in writing the Notification of Award within seven (7) working days of its issuance pursuant to ITT Sub Clause 63.1

ii. Furnish a Performance Security in the form as specified and in the amount of Tk.44,46,200.00 (Taka forty four lac forty six thousand two hundred only) within seven (7) working days of acceptance of this Notification of Award but not later than 17-12-2013 in accordance with ITT Clause 65.

iii. Sign the Contract within twenty eight (28) working days of issuance of this Notification of Award but not later than 14-01-2014 in accordance with ITT Sub Clause 69.2.

You may proceed with the execution of the Works only upon completion of the above tasks. You may also please note that this Notification of Award shall constitute the formation of this Contract which shall become binding upon you.

We attach the draft Contract and all other documents for your perusal and signature.
