This is to notify you that Your tender dated 25-03-2014 for the execution of the Works for Improvement of Gossaibari GC to Sonahata GC Road (Ch: 1000m to 5200m) UZR, Road ID: 110272008 under Dhunot Upazila, Dstrict-Bogra, Package No-LGED/SRIIP/BGR/W-152 for the Contract Price of Tk. 3,29,15,917.21 (Taka Three Crore Twenty Nine Lac Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Seventeen & Paisa Twenty One) Only, as corrected and modified in accordance with the Instructions to Tenderers, has been approved by the competent authority.
You are thus requested to take following actions :

Accept in writing the Notification of Award within seven (7) working days of its issuance pursuant to ITT Sub Clause 63.1. |
|
|
ii. |
Furnish a Performance Security in the from as specified and in the amount of Tk. 16,46,000.00 (Taka Sixteen Lac Forty Six Thousand) Only, within Fourteen (14) days of acceptance of this Notification of Award but not later than in accordance with ITT Clause 65. |
|
|
iii. |
Sign the Contract within Twenty eight (28) days of issuance of this Notification of Award but not later than in accordance with ITT Sub Clause 69.2. |
In addition, according to decision of TEC you are Instructed to follow
the following Clauses :

· |
PCC Clause (GCC 66) : (a) The items of work in the priced Billl of Quantity (BOQ) done satisfactorily having the unit rates exceeding the average unit rates (official unit rates + contractor’s offered cost as percentage above/less over the official Estimated cost x official unit rates) will be paid as per average unit rate during running payment. |

|
|
|
(b) The items of work in the priced Billl of Quantity (BOQ) done satisfactorily having the unit rates lower than the average unit rates (official unit rates + contractor’s offered cost as percentage above/less over the official Estimated cost x official unit rates) will be paid as per contractor’s quoted rates. |
|
|
|
|
|
(c) All the items of work will be paid as per quoted rates offered by the contractor during final payment after satisfactory completion of work. |
|
|
|
|
· |
PCC Clause (GCC 90.1): The percentage to apply to the contract value of the works not completed, representing the procuring Entity’s additional cost for completing the uncompleted works, is 20(twenty) percent. |
You
may proceed with the execution of the Works only upon completion of the above
tasks. You may also please note that this Notification of Award shall
constitute the formation of this Contract which shall become binding upon you.
We
attach the draft Contract and all other documents for your perusal and
signature.
