INFORMATION FOR TENDERER
23.	Eligibility of Tenderer	1. General and overall experience in construction business minimum 10(ten) years including incorporation certificate, upto date Trade Lisence, VAT&TAX certificate. 2. Tenderer having record of poor performance such as abandoning or not completing the contract, inordinate delay, defective or poor workmanship, financial failures, wasteful claims, consistent history of litigation, debarred by any public sector organization shall not be considered for award of contract. 3. The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor shall be 10(Ten) years. 4. The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least 1(One) contract of Pre-stessed Concrete Girder bridge of minimum length 300m with minimum span length 35m & minimum 1000mm dia deep bored Pile foundation or well foundation constructed over river successfully completed within the last 5(Five) years, with a value of at least Tk.30.00 (Thirty) Crore only. 5. The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater that Tk.49.00 (Forty Nine) Crore only overth the best 5(Five) years in the last 10(Ten) years.
		6. The minimum amount of liquied assets i.e working capital or credit line(s) of the Tenderers shall be Tk.12.00 (Twelve) Crore only. 7. Tenderer must own or have arrangments to hire/lease Concrete Batching Plant and Hydrolic Rotary Rig. 8. Tenderer failure to submit relevant and acceptable Method Statement including Safety Procedures in the Technical Proposal may not be considered for Financial Evaluation. 9. Other eligibility and qualification criteria of Tenderer are detailed in Tender Documents.

Brief Description of Works	Total Length of Structure: (291.00m main bridge with 165.0 m Viaduct which is similar to main bridge)=456.0m ● Approximate length of the PC girder: 258.00m ( 06 spans). ● Approximate length of the R.C.C Box Girder: 198.00 m ( 06 spans). ● Span length 43.00m (c/c) (max.) & 33.00m (c/c) (min.) ● RCC Deck Slab with 7.3m clear width (out to out distance 9.80m) having walk way on both side. ● RCC deep bored pile foundation having 800mm (min.) dia for abutment (L=30m) while 1200mm& 1000mm dia for pier pile (L=50m & 45m) ● Approximate Length of R.C.C Retaining Wall with pre-stress tensioning : 120m. ● Safety measures for traffic, Bridge Lighting and Electric Works.
