1. The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) toward the cost of Northern Bangladesh Integrated Development Project (NOBIDEP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract for Procurement of Goods (Computer & UPS, Printer, Photocopier, Scanner, Multimedia Projector and FAX), Package No.: GNOBI-LGED-EQ-10.

2. Bidding will be conducted through procedures in accordance with the applicable Guidelines for Procurement under PPR-2008 and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries, as defined TDS.

3. The Project Director, Northern Bangladesh Integrated development Project (NOBIDEP), Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the procurement of Goods (brief descriptions are provided below in the table).

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of:

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above on all working days during normal office hours up to 20/7/2014 and upon payment of a non- refundable fee for:

6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Standard Bidding Documents for the Procurement of Goods.

7. i) A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 01/7/2014 at 11:00 AM (Local/Bangladesh Time) at the address: Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), LGED Bhaban, Level – 4, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

ii) Bids must be delivered to the above address at or before Time: 3:00 p.m. on Date 21/7/2014 and be accompanied by a Bid Security mentioned below on the table:
