1. The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has
received a loan from the Strategic Climate Fund being administrated by Asian
Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Coastal Climate Resilient
Infrastructure Project (CCRIP), ADB Loan no. 8258-BAN (SCF) & IFAD Loan No:L-I-896-BD, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this loan to payments under the following contracts for which this Invitation
for Tender (IFT) is issued.
2.
The
Project Director, Coastal Climate Resilient Infrastructure Project (CCRIP),
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) now invites sealed tenders
from eligible bidders from member countries of ADB for the procurement of the
following Goods for the purpose of the Project.

3. National Open Tender will be conducted in accordance with the Public
Procurement Rules -2008 and ADB’Single–Stage; One–Envelope bidding procedure and is
opened to all Tenderers from eligible member
countries mentioned in the Section 8 of the Tender Document.
4. A pre-tender meeting will be held on 12th October
,2014 at 11:00 hrs in the
office of the Project Director, Coastal Climate Resilient
Infrastructure Project, Level-3,RDEC Bhaban, LGED
H/Q, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla
Nagar, Dhaka-1207.
5. Interested eligible tenderers may
obtain further information from the Project Director, Coastal Climate Resilient
Infrastructure Project (CCRIP),Local Government Engineering Department, Level-3,
RDEC Bhaban, LGED H/Q, Agargaon,
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh telephone
+ (88)-02-8181488, facsimile: + (88)-02-8181496; e-mail: pd.ccrip@lged.gov.bd and inspect the tender documents during normal office hours (from 9:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs) on all working days up to A
complete set of tender documents (in
English) may be purchased by any interested eligible tenderer on the submission
of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fees for each package as
mentioned in the above table only during normal office hours on all working
days till 20
October 2014.
6. Tenders must be delivered to the address mentioned above at or before 14:00 hours , 21 October 2014.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security
mentioned in the above table . Tenders
will be opened in the presence of the Tenderer
or his representatives who choose to attend at the address as the
Project Director, Coastal Climate Resilient Infrastructure Project
(CCRIP),Local Government Engineering Department, Level-3, RDEC Bhaban, LGED H/Q, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh at 14:30 on 21 October 2014.
8. The Project Director will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by tenderers
in connection with the preparation or delivery of tenders.
9. The Invitation for Tender (IFT) will also be available at the Web Sites:
http://www.lged.gov.bd and www.cptu.gov.bd .
10. The authority reserves all the rights to accept any tender or to reject
any or all tenders without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
