Standard Request for Application (SRFA)

For

Selection of Individual Consultant (2^nd Time)

(SRFA- 05/2013-2014)

LGED has received public funds from the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) toward the cost of “Construction of 950m PC Girder Bridge over Dharola River in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District ” and intends to apply part of the fund for payments for the consultancy services for the project to be provided by the individual consultants as below:

PD/Dharola/S-02	Quality Assurance Engineer & 1(one) No.	a) Work supervision b) Check field & laboratory test report. c) Quality control d) Lab test report certification.	Should have B.Sc in civil Engineering with overall working experience of 15 years with at least 10 years working experience in the relevant field of assignment (other criteria as mentioned in the SRFA document).
PD/Dharola/S-03	Quantity Surveyor Cum Laboratory Technician & 2(two) Nos.	a) Work supervision b) Measurement record c) Perform lab test d) On site routine check up	Should have B.Sc in civil Engineering with overall working experience of 7 years with at least 5 years working experience in the field of assignment. OR Should have Diploma in Civil Engineering with overall working experience of 12 years with at least 8 years working experience in the field of assignment (other criteria as mentioned in the SRFA document).

The Project Director , Construction of 950m PC Girder Bridge over Dharola River in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District , LGED now invites eligible applicants to apply for the positions mentioned above. Interested applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Complete CV with other details as required as per the Application Forms)

Consultants will be selected using the selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will commence on 1^st July’2014 and shall continue up to 30^th June’ 2016.

Interested applicants are requested to submit their expression of interest in accordance with the request for Application which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours. A complete set of “Standard Request for Application” including Terms of Reference may be obtained from the office of the undersigned.

Standard Request for Application shall be submitted by 2.00 PM on 13.04.2014 in sealed envelope delivered to The Project Director, “Construction of 950m PC Girder Bridge over Dharola River in Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District,” level-9, LGED Bhaban, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 and be clearly marked “Standard Request for Application (SRFA) for Selection of (-------proposed position) as Individual Consultant”.

The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all SRFA.
