Individual Consultant : Bridge Supervision Engineer
Memo No- LGED/PD/RRMAIDP/M-53/2011/ 2055 Date: 02/06/2011.
LGED has been allocated public funds from the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) toward the cost of the Project “RRMAIDP” and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds of payments under the contract for the provision of consultancy services for the project by an individual consultant (Bridge Supervision Engineer).
The services
include :
a) Engineering Consultant services to the Project office as well as LGED district offices. The consultant shall be responsible for supervision of bridges under the project as well as the LGED Project which includes RCC girder bridges, PC girder bridges , box girder bridges , slab bridges , bank protection work , road side slope protection work and the relevant works.
The qualification and experience required for the assignment is as follows:

a) Education Qualification:
· B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed University.
b)
Experience & adequacy for the
assignment:
· Must have overall working experience of 10 years with at least 7 years working experience in the relevant field of assignment.
· Should have Experience of Supervision of Bridge including RCC girder bridges, PC girder bridges, box girder bridges, slab bridges, bank protection work, road side slope protection work and other relevant works.
c)
Suitability:
· Training in relevant area , computer skill.
For outstanding Candidate the experience criteria may be relaxed.

Consultants will be selected using the selection of
individual consultant
sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will be commenced

A complete set of “Request for Application” including Term of Reference may also be obtained from the office of the undersigned.
