Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for selection of Firm/Company for Providing Support Staff Services.

The Local Government Engineering Department has been allocated public fund from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh & JICA towards the cost of the project and it intends to apply part of these fund to payments under the contract for provision of Support Services under the project by a firm/company on outsourcing basis.

The firm/company will be engaged to provide services for the post of CAD Operator-02 Nos, Socio Gender Development Officer-01 No, Training Officer-01 No, Urban Planer-01 No, Office Assistant Cum-Computer Operator-23 Nos, for Project Director Office, Urban Management Support Unit Dhaka, Regional Urban Management Support Unit Rangpur, Mymensingh, Supervision Monitoring Office Rangpur, Dinajpur, Mymensingh & 14(fourteen) districts level LGED Office under the project for a varied duration.

The Local Government Engineering Department now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the service. Interested firms/companies are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, qualification and experience among staff, availability of appropriate staffs, financial &technical capability, last 3 years turn over, logistics etc.).

An applicant may associate with other firm/company to enhance their qualifications. A firm/company will be selected in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2008 of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It is expected that the services will be commenced on 1^st July 2014 and shall be completed on June, 2019.

Expressions of interest shall be submitted on or before 10^th April 2014 2014,up to 3.00 pm in sealed envelope delivered to the Project Director, Northern Bangladesh Integrated Development Project, Level-12, LGED Bhaban, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the EOIs without assigning any reason whatsoever.
