Information for Applicant Brief Description of Assignment:				Under the above stated project there is a provision for Conducting feasibility study and detail design of 27 (Twenty seven) Nos bridges under different Upazila of Sunamgong, B-Baria, Netrokona, Tangail, Comilla, Khaluna, Bagerhat, Mymensingh & Dhaka Districts Under this assignment a total number of 12 (Twelve) feasibility study and detail design of bridges will be conducted in different Upazila of B-Baria,Tangail, Comilla, Khaluna, Bagerhat, Mymensingh & Dhaka Districts The services are to be provided by experienced professionals utilizing sound engineering knowledge and practices. The Consultant shall perform all necessary technical and economic studies, field surveys including those described below to attain the stated objectives. The client will make available to the Consultant results of a separate morphological study of the river over which the bridge having length of 100m or more will be constructed. The main studies are as follows (i) Detail techno-economic analysis (ii) Traffic and transportation study (iii) Digital Topographical Survey (iv) Sub-soil investigation (v) Detail land Acquisition and re-settlement plan (vi) Detailed Structural design (vii) preparation of cost estimate and Tender Document (viii) Detailed drawing of bridge structure, approach road and River Training works.
Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required:				The firm Should have practical experience and proven track record of delivering services 1. Registration of the firm. 2. Age of the firm (years in relevant business). 3. Availability of key professionals. 4. Financial resources of the consultant (turnover of last five years) 5. Experience of the firm in similar tasks/assignments (examples of past experience-similar nature and /or complexity including cost and duration of the assignment). 6. Experience of the firm in other works (examples of other experience including cost and duration of the assignment. 7. Support services of the firm (office space, support staff, equipment).
