Request for
Expression of Interest (EOI) for Selection of Firm/Company for Providing Support
Staff Services
1. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)
has been allocated public fund from the Government of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh (GOB) towards the cost of the project and it intends to apply part
of these fund to payments under the contract for provision of Support Services under
the Project by a firm/company on outsourcing basis.
2. The firm/company will be engaged to provide
services for the post of 2(Two)Nos. Driver & 2(Two)Nos. MLSS of Project Director Office ,LGED,
H/Q, Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka during the tenure of the Project.
3. LGED now invites eligible applicants to indicate
their interest in providing the service. Interested firms/companies are invited
to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the
services (brochures, description of similar assignments, qualification and
experience among staff, availability of appropriate staffs etc.)
4. An
applicant may associate with other firm/company to enhance their
qualifications. A firm/company will be selected in accordance with the Public
Procurement Rules,2008 of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh. It is expected that the services will be commenced on March/2014 and
shall be completed on June/2018.
5. Interested

6. Expressions
of interest shall be submitted on or before 19 February 2014, in sealed envelope delivered to the
Project Director, ÒRangpur Division Rural Infrastructure Improvement Project(RDRIIP), Level-06, LGED Bhaban,
Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. The procuring entity
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the EOIs without assigning
any reason whatsoever.
