Selection Firm/Company for providing Outsourcing
Staff.
The Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh
(GOB) has approved “Haor Flood Management and Livelihood Improvement Project” towards the cost of ODA loan of JICA and GOB
to manage recurrent flood and enhance living standard through livelihood
improvement in five (5) Haor districts: Sunamganj, Habiganj, Netrokona,
Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria. The Project is of eight (8) years duration and
expected to be concluded by June 2022. The Local Government Engineering
Department intends to apply a part of its GOB fund to payments under the
contract for provision of Support Service under the project by a firm/company
of outsourcing basis.
The outsourcing firm/company
will be engaged to provide services for the post of Deputy Project Director (NRM)-(01),
Community Resource Management Specialist (01), Administrative/Human
Resources Manager (01), Office Assistant cum Computer Operator (02), Driver
(04), Office helper (01), Guard/Cleaner (01) for Project Management Office in LGED HQ, Dhaka and Project Coordinator
(04), M&E Officer (04), Training Coordinator (04) Speed Boat Driver (04)
and Office Helper (02) for Project
Implementation Unit office at district level under the project for a
varied duration.
The Project Director, HFMLIP now invites eligible
firm to indicate their interest in providing the service. Interested
firms/companies are invited to provide information indicating that they are
qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar
assignments, qualification and experience among staff, availability of
appropriate staffs, financial & technical capability, last
3 years turn over, logistics etc.).
An applicant may associate with other
firm/company to enhance their qualifications. A firm/company will be selected
in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2008 of the People’s Republic
of Bangladesh. It is expected that the services will be commenced as soon after
July 2014 and will be completed on June 2022.

Expressions
of Interest shall be submitted on or before 09/09/2014, up to 3.00pm in sealed
envelope delivered to the Project Director, Haor Flood Management and
Livelihood Improvement Project, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED),
LGED Bhaban, Level-11, Agargaon, Sher-e-bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207. The procuring
entity reserves the right to accept/reject any or all EOIs without assigning
any reasons whatsoever.
