Request for Expression of Interest

Short listing of Individual National Consultants

The Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan (Loan No: BD-P80) from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) towards the cost of Haor Flood Management and Livelihood Improvement Project (HFMLIP), Local Government Engineering Department under the Local Government Division of the ministry of LGRD&C to manage recurrent flood and enhance living standard through livelihood improvement in five (5) Haor districts: Sunamganj, Habiganj, Netrokona, Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria. A part of proceeds of the loan will be utilized for institutional strengthening support activities for Project Implementation Unit office at district level under the project by the following individual national consultants. The Project is eight (8) years duration and will be concluded by June 2022. The Proposed man month is intermittently over 8 years project period. Details for each position are as follows:

The Project Director, HFMLIP now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest for the above mentioned services. Interested applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Complete CV with other details as required as per the application forms (RFA) provided by the undersigned.) A consultant will be selected using the selection sub methods in accordance with the public procurement rules 2008, issued by the GOB.

Interested Applicants may obtain further information and collect the Request For Application (RFA) Documents by applying to the address below during office hours up to 08/09/2014.

Expressions of Interest (one original and two copies in sealed envelope and be clearly marked “Request for Expressions of interest” for selection of individual consultant with the name of the post) along with documentary evidences to support the required criteria shall be submitted by the applicants to the Project Director, Haor Flood Management and Livelihood Improvement Project, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), LGED Bhaban, Level-11, Agargaon, Sher-e-bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 on or before 09/09/2014 up to12.00 noon. Any application submitted later than the specified date and time or submitted through e-mail/Fax will not be entertained. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept/reject any or all EOIs without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
