INFORMATION FOR APPILICANT
16.	Brief Description of Assignment		Hydrological and Morphological Study and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) : The main objective of the assignment is to investigate the detailed hydrological, hydraulic and morphological analysis of the river sites in determining suitable bridge locations for the proposed bridges, openings, and hydraulic design variables of the bridge piers, abutment/guide bunds and associated river training works(RTW). To provide technical assistance to the executing agency by preparing Comprehensive Environmental Study report i.e. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report and presentation at Department of Environment(DoE) to get Environmental Clearance Certificate(ECC) which is required for execution of the project. The study should embody a detailed yield of comprehensive report on environmental aspects of the project. Specific objectives of the present assignment is the Preparation of Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan(EMMP) considering significant environmental impacts regarding physical environment, ecosystems, climate, water resources, geology, human health, particularly agriculture, fisheries, industry, aquatic ecology and socio-economic environment. The assignment period would be about for 2(two) months and tentatively starting from July 2016.
17.	Required experience		The Consulting Firm shall have a general experience of at least 5(five) years and practical experience with proven assignment record in preparation of Hydrological and Morphological Study and Comprehensive Environmental Study report i.e. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report of at least 3(three) nos of large bridges(bridge length is equal to 100m or more) over river at different locations of our country. The EoI shall be evaluated on the basis of following documents: 1) Registration of the firm. 2) Age of the firm (Year in relevant business). 3) Availability of key personals (List of key personnel in permanent pay role) 4) Financial Statement supported by audit report for last 3(three) years including turn over. 5) Experience of the firm in similar task/assignments last 10 (ten) years (example of past experience of similar nature and for complexity including cost and duration of the assignment). 6) Experience of the firm in other works last 10 (ten) years (example of past experience of similar nature of task including cost and duration of the assignment). 7) Support services of the firm(office space, support staff, equipment)
18.	Other information		a) Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the PPR-2008. b) Detailed information may be collected from the undersigned office during office hour.
