Request
for Expressions of Interest (EOI)
for
Selection
of Individual Consultant
The
People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a credit from the International
Development Association (IDA) Cr. No. 5561-BD towards the cost of the
Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (MDSP) and intends to apply part of this
credit to eligible payments under the contract for Service of Individual Consultant under Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (MDSP).
The
purpose of this consultancy is to provide advisory and specialized technical
support to the Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (MDSP), LGED and timely
implementation of the capacity development component of the project. Details of
the services for the assignment are as follows:

B.Sc. Engineering in
Civil or B.Sc. in WRE More than 10 years of relevant experience of which
minimum 5 years in Building project; Shall have good experience in building
construction and supervision work and 5 years specific experience in water
supply and plumbing works. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
in both Bangla and English Experience in rain water harvesting and Pond Sand
Filter (PSF) system is expected. |
The Project
Director, MDSP, LGED now invites eligible Applicants to apply for the
positions. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they
are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with other details as
required).
The consultant will
be selected in accordance with the selection of Individual Consultant
procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of
Consultant under IBRD Loans and Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers,
January 2011.

this regard could be obtained from the undersigned during office hour.
Expressions of
Interest shall be submitted by 2:00 PM on or before 20.12.2015, in sealed envelope
delivered to Project Director, Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (MDSP),
Workshop Bhaban (Level-3), LGED, Dhka-1207 and be clearly marked with the name
of positions “Request for Expressions of Interest for Selection of Individual
Consultant”.
The client reserves
the right to accept or reject any/ all Expressions of Interest (EOI).
