The Project Director, Rural Infrastructure Development Project : Chittagong Hill Tracts-2^nd Phase, now invites eligible Applicants to indicate their interest for two posts i.e. Mid Level Bridge Design Engineer and Structural CAD Operator for Designing and drawing of bridges, culverts etc. to be constructed in different districts like; Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachari.

Mid Level Bridge Design Engineer

B. Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed University

· The duty of consultant are to prepare Structural Design and Drawing of different types of bridges like RCC girder Bridge, PC Girder Bridge, Box culverts, bank protection work, road side slope protection work etc. · Supervise sub-soil investigation work and review report for selection of appropriate and economic foundation type etc. · Assist LGED for preparation of cost estimate, BOQ, technical specification, construction methodology, tender document etc. · Monitor and supervise the works during implementation in order to ascertain whether the work progressed as per design, drawing and specification. · To supervise PDA Test, Static Load Test of cast-in-situ piles and integrity Test of piles, review report and comment. · Assist to prepare Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement and recommend for approval, if required.

· Must have at least 8(Eight) years working experience in the relevant field of assignment i.e. structural analysis and design of RCC & PSC bridges (Foundation, substructures & superstructures) and other related structures like bank protection Works, road protective works and retaining wall etc. · Computer proficiency in structural analysis and design with application of appropriate software like STAAD-PRO, MIDAS, SAP-2000,MS Project and Estimating Software. · Should have knowledge on using infrastructure standard code of practice (AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc.), for analysis and structural design of structure as stated above. · Should have sound knowledge on CAD drawing, plan, section, perspective view etc. of bridge and other infrastructure.

Structural CAD Operator

Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Architecture Or Certificate in bridge/building & Architectural drafting from any recognized institution.

· The duties of consultant are to prepare Architectural & Structural Drawings of different types of bridges like RCC Girder Bridge, PC Girder Bridge, Box culverts, bank protection work, road side slope protection work etc. · Provide data, drawing as well as necessary support to Bridge Design Engineer. · Carry out his assignments timely and provide sound and diligent services.

· Diploma in Civil Engineering /Architecture or Equivalent Degree/Candidate having certificate in building/bridge & Architectural drafting course from any recognized institution may also apply. · Should have Minimum 5 (Five) Years working experiences in different organization relating to similar assignment. · Should have sound knowledge on Auto CAD drawing, plan, section, perspective/ working drawing, bar bending schedule etc. of Bridges, culverts and other infrastructure. · Should have knowledge on using infrastructure standard code of practice i.e. AASHTO, ACI & IRC etc. · Computer proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling by the application of appropriate software.

Other Details: It is expected that the services will be commenced on 1^st October, 2016 and shall be completed by 31^st October, 2018 i.e. duration of service 24 (twenty four) months. Interested consultants are requested to submit their expression of interest with the standard Application Forms (PS4, August 2009, Standard Request for Application) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the EOI’s and RFA.
