INFORMATION FOR APPILICANT
16.	Brief Description of Assignment		LGED now invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from a experienced Consulting Firm or Firms in joint venture / association (National) for conducting the Detailed Engineering design of the proposed bridge One Bridge over the river Korotoa under Pirganj Upazila, District : Rangpur and Two Bridges over the River Balu under Rupganj, Upazilla, District : Narayanganj and another one over the river Turag under Savar Upazilla, District : Dhaka. The consultancy service includes : (a) Detailed surveying (Geometric Survey, digital topographical survey of the proposed bridge site) (b) Conducting soil test. (c) Preparation of structural design & drawing, Estimate, BOQ & tender documents.
17	Required experience		The Consulting Firm shall have a general experience of at least 5(five) years and practical experience with proven assignment record in designing of at least 4(four) Nos of large bridges(bridge length is equal to 100m or more) over river at different locations of our country. The EoI shall be submitted along with the following documents: a) Background of the firm. b) Summary of similar nature of works experience with assignment name/start date/completion date including financial year and cost. c) Organization information, manpower having relevant experience and professionals qualification. d) Financial Statement supported by audit report for the last (two) years.
18.	Other information		a) Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the PPR-2008. b) Detailed information may be collected from the undersigned office during office hour.
