from the experienced Individual Consultant (National) for supervision work of
9 Nos. PC Girder Bridge to be constructed in Manikganj,
Netrokona, Narsingdi, B.Baria, Cox’s Bazar, Khulna, Magura
and Gaibandha Districts on Upazila
road and Union road. |

The position will be located in the bridge
construction site. So, It is duty to monitor and
supervise the civil works during implementation period in order to ascertain
whether the work progressed as per structural design, drawing and
specification as well as assure quality of physical works by taking full
responsibility. ·
Prepare construction sequence, checking of
fabricating placing & binding and fixing reinforcement. ·
Attend in all RCC casting work and also assist
LGED in contract administer and implementing the bridge construction work. ·
During construction period if any change in design becomes
necessary the consultant shall review necessary documents, visit the project
site and finalize necessary amendments within a reasonable time. ·
Assist
to prepare Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement and recommend
for approval, if required. |
·
Must
have overall working experience of 12 (Twelve) years with at least 10 (Ten)
years working experience in the relevant field of assignment i.e. planning,
monitoring and supervision of RCC & PSC bridges (Foundation,
substructures & superstructures) and other related structures like bank
protection Works, road protective works and retaining wall etc. ·
Should
have good knowledge on various types
of bridge structural system (Beam/Girder bridge,
Arch bridge, Rigid frame bridge, Arch-Beam bridge, Pre-stressed bridge etc.) ·
Should
have sound knowledge on using standard code of practice AASHTO, IRC etc. for
analysis and design of bridges. · Should have also experience in
approach road construction works. · Computer proficiency in MS Project,
estimating software. |
