Request for
Expression of Interest (EOI) for Selection & Employment
of Individual
Consultants
1. The Local
Government Engineering Department (LGED) has been allocated public funds from
the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) towards the cost of
“Gopalganj District Important Rural Infrastructure Improvement Project” and
in tends to apply part of the proceeds
of this funds for payment under the contract for the provision of consultancy
services for the project by Individual Consultnt (National) for the position
and experiences shown below:

The applicant should
have at least 08 (eight) years experience in the field of structural analysis
and Design of Bridge maintaining high level of accuracy with the application
of latest upgraded STAAD Pro Software. |

CAD Operator |
1 |
Diploma
in Civil Engineering |
The applicant should
have at least 06 (six) years experience in preparation of structural
(preferably bridge) drawing with the application of Auto CAD. |
2. The Local
Government Engineering Department now invites eligible applicants for having
their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide
their information so as to be qualified to perform the services (complete CV
with other details as required as per the Application Forms).
3. The Consultant
will be selected using the selection of individual consultant sub-method in
accordance with the Public Procurement Rule, 2008 and SRFA issued by the GOB.
It is expected that the services may be commenced on July/2016 and may be
continued upto September/2017.November---
4. Interested
applicants are required to submit their expressions of interest in accordance
with the Application Forms and may obtain the Request for Application document
from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours.
5. Expressions of
Interest (EOI) shall be submitted by the applicants on or before 12-04-2016
upto 12.00 noon in sealed envelope delivered to the undersigned and be clearly
marked “Request for Expressions of Interest” for selection of Bridge Design
Engineer/ CAD Operator. Persons who are already
in employment shall send application through proper channel, otherwise they
shall not be considered for appointment. The procuring entity reserves the
right to accept any or reject all EOI’s without assigning any reason
whatsoever.
