INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

16. Brief Description of the Assignment : The main objectives of the consultancy services under the Assignment is to conduct detail Digital Topography Survey, Sub-soil investigation, Structural Design, Drawing, Engineering Estimate, BOQ, Specification, Tender Document of 19 (Nineteen) nos. bridges of different length and 2(two) Nos. Upazila Roads in Kishoreganj District in compliance with the guidelines of Government of Bangladesh (GOB).

17. Experience, Resources & Delivery

Capacity Required : 1. Background of the firm(s) including company incorporation certificate, companies’ brochure etc.

2. Firm(s) names (clearly indicate the form of association "joint venture" or "sub - consultancy"; in case of a joint venture indicate the name of the partner in charge, if applicable), address, copy of registration certificate with relevant professional bodies of the concerned government, supported by latest/ up-dated renewal.

3. Availability of the permanent key professionals of the Firms (list of relevant professional staff, their qualification and experiences).

4. Experience of the firm in similar tasks/assignments (example of past experience - similar nature and / or complexity including cost and duration of the assignment completed within last 10years).

5. Experience of the firm in other works (example of other experience including cost and duration of the assignment completed within last 10years).

6. Financial capability (Turnover of last 5 years submitted by Certified balance sheet and / or audit reports).

7. Support services of the firm (office space, support staff, equipment).

18. Other Details (if applicable) : The consultant will be engaged with the client for about 6 (Six) months.

A Consulting firm will be selected using Fixed Budget method in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulation, 2008.

Interested consultants may obtain further information from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours. A shortlist of firms will be prepared from the expressions of interest for requesting proposals for the assignment.

Submission of EOI should be done in sealed envelope and be clearly marked “Request for Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services (National) of Important Rural Infrastructure Development Project in Kishoreganj District”, the name and address of the applicant, EOI No. & date and be addressed to the authority issued the EOI, in 3 (Three) copies 01 (one) marked as "ORIGINAL" and others as "COPIES".
