Request for Expressions
of Interest (EOI)
for
Selection of Individual Consultant (National)
Local Government Division of The Ministry of Local
Government, Rural Development and Co-operative has received a public funds from the Government of the People’s
Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) toward the cost of “Infrastructure Improvement of Langalbandh Maha Ashtami Holy Bath Festival
Project (IILMAHBFP), LGED " and
intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds under the contract for the
provision of consultancy services for the project by individual consultants as
given below:

the Architectural Model including 3D of any type of structure proposed by
Project Director, IILMAHBFP of LGED in alignment with the standard code of
practice, BNBC, etc. of the country, Prepare working Drawings &
presentation of various infrastructures of the project and others as
requested by Project Director, IILMAHBFP of LGED. |
a) Should have B. Arc. from
any reputed University with at least 10 (Ten) years specific experience in
the relevant field of assignment. b) Should have Experience of Preparation of Building and other
structural plans, working drawings, master plan, etc. c) Should have IAB & RAJUK Enlistment. (detailed in the RFA) |

Structural Design Engineer |

Design of multi-storied buildings, temples, public toilets, waiting
sheds, parking facilities, roads, culverts, analysis of sub soil
investigation, foundation design under various soil conditions, working
drawings preparation, etc. and others as
requested by Project Director, IILMAHBFP of LGED. |
a) Should have B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed University
with at least 10 (Ten) years specific experience in the relevant field of
assignment. b) Should have Experience of in building design, foundation design, etc. (detailed in the RFA) |

Auto CAD
Operator |
2 (Two) |
Prepare
working Drawings & presentation of various infrastructures of the project
and others as requested by LGED, Provide data, drawing as well as necessary
support to Structural Engineer, any other duties assigned by the Project
Director and Design Unit related to the assignment. |
a) Should have Diploma in Civil/Architecture from any recognized
Institute of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree / Candidate having drafting
course in Auto CAD software. b) Should have experience at least 10 (Ten) years specific in the
relevant field of assignment, etc. (detailed in the RFA) |

Estimator |
1 (One) |
Review
the Plans and specifications of Structures and Prepare the final Cost
Estimate or Bill of Quantities (BOQ) required for construction by using LGED
software, assist Engineer to prepare specifications and rates for the items,
which is not available in current LGED’s specifications. Assist to prepare
Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement, if required, Visits to
assigned site if required. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project
Director relevant to the assignment. |
a) Should have Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized
Institute of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree. b) Should have at least 10 (Ten) years specific experience in the
relevant field of assignment. etc. c) Strong technical
background and working Knowledge of construction work. (detailed in the RFA) |
The Project Director, LGED now invites eligible
applicants to apply for the positions mentioned above. Interested applicants
are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to
perform the services (Complete CV with other details as required as per the
Application Forms).
Consultants will be selected using the selection of
individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement
Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will commence on November, 2017 as
Specified in TOR.
A complete set of “Request for Application” including
Terms of Reference may be obtained from the office of the undersigned up to 13.11.2017
during normal office hours.
Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 2.00pm on
15.11.2017 in sealed envelope delivered to The Project Director, RDEC Bhaban, (level-11), LGED Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 and be
clearly marked “Request for Expression of
Interest for Selection of Architect/Structural Design Engineer/ Auto CAD
Operator/Estimator as Individual Consultant”.
The authority reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all EOIs without assigning any reason.
