FOR
Selection
of Individual Consultant (National)
Local Government Division of the
Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Co- Operative has received a
public funds from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh(GOB) toward the cost of
Infrastructure Improvement Langalbandh Maha Ashtami Holy Bath Festival
Project(IILMAHBFP)LGED and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds
under the contract for the provision of consultancy services for the project by
individual consultants as given below.

Review the Plans and specification of
Structures and prepare the final cost Estimate or Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
required for construction by using LGED software, assist Engineer to prepare specifications
and rate for the items, whichis not available in current LGED specifications
Assist to prepare Variation Order(VOs) in light of contract agreement, if required,
visits to assigned by the Project Director relevant to the assignment. |
a)
Shouldhave MinimumDiploma in Civil Engineering
from any recognized institute of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree. b)
Should have at last 10(Ten) years specific experience
in the relevant field of assignment etc.for the Diploma in Civil Engineering
For the B.Sc. Engineer the experience may be considered by the
authority. c)
Strong technical background and working knowledge
of construction work may be Preffered (details in
the RFA) |
The project Director LGED now invites
eligible applicants to apply for the positions mentioned above Interested applicants are invited to provide information
indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Complete CV with
other details as required as per the Application Forms).
Consultants will be selected using
the selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the public
Procurement Rules 2008.It is expected that the service will commence on June, 2018
as Specified in TOR.
A complete set of Request for
Application including Terms of Reference may be obtained from the office of the
undersigned up to 09.05.2018 during normal office hours.
Expression of Interest shall be
submitted by 2.00pm on 10.05.2018 In sealed envelope delivered to The Project
Director, 62,Pashem Agargaon(Level-5), LGED,Dhaka-1207
and be clearly marked “Request for Expressionof Interest for Selection of
Estimators as Individual consultant”.
The authority reserves the right to
accept or reject any or all EOIs without assigning any reason.
