of Interest(EOI) for
Selection &
Employment of Individual Consultants
The Local Government Engineering Department(LGED)
has been assigned as one of the executive agencies for Construction of
Rubber Dams in small & Medium rivers for increasing of food production
project (1st Rivision) under Ministry of Agriculture The Local Govt.
Engineering Department has been
allocated public funds from the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh
(GOB) toward the cost of the Project, and intends to apply part of the
these funds to under the contract for the provision of consultancy services
for Planing, Design & Supervision of the projects by an individual
consultant(national).
The service includes the activities as referred
in the TOR attached in the RFA
The qualification and experience required for
the assignment is as follow:

The applicant should have at least 15
years general experience & 10 years Estimate relevant experience and
sufficient knowledge in design of water resource development structure.
He must have proven experience of water resource schemes & also have
the capability of producing drawing, Design of rubber dam/ water resource
development structure (regulators & sluices, embankments, canal etc.)
using Auto CAD & Stadpro. Preference will be given to the person
having knowledge & Minimum 5 Years Practical experiences of Rubber
Dam.

The Local Govt. Engineering Department now
invites eligible Applicants to indicate their interest in providing the
services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that
they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with other details
as required as per the Application Forms)
A Consultant will be selected using the
selection of individual consultant sub- method in accordance with the
Public Procurement rules 2008 and Public Procurement Procedures issued by
the GOB. It is expected that the services will be commenced on December/ 2013 and shall be
completed on June / 2016
Interested Applicants are required to submit
their expressions of interest in accordance with the Application Forms and
may obtain the Request for Application document from the office of the
undersigned during normal office hours .
Expression of Interest shall be submitted by the
applicant on or before 30-09-2013 upto 5.00 pm in sealed envelope
delivered to the office of the
undersigned, and be clearly marked “ Request for
Expressions of interest for the
post of Water Resource Design
Consultant. Applicants who are already in employment shall have to send
their application through proper channel. Otherwise their applications will not be considered The procuring entity reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all the EOI without assigning any reason
whatsoever.
