16	Brief Description of Assignment(Shortly)		:	· The Monitoring and Quality control Engineer will work under the direction of the Project Director and Superintending Engineer concerned Region and in close collaboration with the Executive Engineer Districts, the senior Assistant Engineer, Districts Upazila Engineers, Districts Upazila Engineers concerned Upazila. · Advice and support the Upazila engineers in assisting the Executive Engineers to carry out site investigations for subproject design, particularly in relation to investigations of soils and the identification of remedial measures to address any problems. · Supervise all project construction, rehabilitation and maintenance works through frequent site inspection of construction methods and outputs and compliance with contract terms, measurement and laboratory and on-site testing and advise the upazila engineers on actions to address problems arising. · Assist the upazila engineer and executive engineer, districts to monitor and report on the physical and financial progress of all rural infrastructure subprojects. · Review the existing LGED laboratory and on-site facilities, staffing and procedures for quality control testing and where necessary recommend improvements. · The structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the detailed engineering design and preparation of bills of quantities and cost estimates for all bridges on rural road Design of : i) RCC+BC Roads ii) Protective works of Road iii) RCC Jetty iv) Growth center/ Rural Market.
17	Experience, Resources & Delivery Capacity Required		:	Experiences and other related requirements have been mentioned into the RFA which shall collect from the undersigned offices.
18	Other Details (if applicable)		:	· Individual Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the PPR-2008. · It is expected that the services will be commenced on July, 2018 and shall be completed by June'2022. On the other basis time may be extended in the RFA. · Interested consultants are requested to submit their expressions of interest in accordance with the standard Application Forms (PS4, August 2009, Standard Request for Application) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hour’s up to 13/05/2018
