1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the

(A) Construction of (i) Brick line canal-1(L=0.70km), (ii) Brick line canal-2(L=0.70km), (iii) Brick line canal-3(L=0.90km), (iv) Box Culvert(1v-2.0mx2.0m) on Nolir khal bank, (v) WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting, Electrification & Office Furniture under Dewra CAD Subproject {SP-45176 (IFID-2)}, Upazila: Muradnagar, District: Comilla.

(B) Construction of (i) Irrigation Canal 1&2 (L-660m), (ii) Proposed Check Structure (1v-600mm dia pipe, (iii) WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting, Electrification, Office Furniture under Dakshin Trish CAD Subproject {SP-45177 (ADB)}, Upazila: Muradnagar, District: Comilla.

3. Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following key criteria, may participate in this bidding:

(A) Package- LGED/PSSW/PD/Muradnagar/Comilla/W-06/2015 :

· 3 (three) years minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover shall be BDT 150.00 (One hundred fifty) Lakh

· Minimum 5 (five) years general construction experience

· Experience in similar contract individually at least BDT 90.00 (Ninety) Lakh

Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.

(B) Package- LGED/PSSW/PD/ Muradnagar/Comilla/W-07/2015 :

· 3 (three) years minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover shall be BDT 50.00 (Fifty) Lakh

· Minimum 5 (five) years general construction experience

· Experience in similar contract individually at least BDT 40.00 (Forty) Lakh

Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.

4. National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries

7. Deliver your bid:

· to the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Comilla

· on or before the deadline: date: 30 April 2015 at time : 12:00 Noon

· together with a Bid Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document

8. Bids will be opened on 30 April 2015 at 12:05 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Comilla

9. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
