1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan
from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small
Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this lone will be used
for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from
ADB member Countries.
2.
The Local
Government Engineering Department (LGED),invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the construction of RCC lined Canal with Sump, Platform Out-let and
fall board at Ch: 0+000km-0+580km (L=330m, L=250.0m), 0+000km to 0+470km
(l=470m) of Banglabazar Subproject ) SP-23074, Upazila, Dowarabazar, District-
Sunamgonaj.
3.
Only eligible bidders
meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including
the following key criteria may participate in this bidding , either as a single
entity or in Joint Venture.
·
Participation in at least one contract that has been
successfully of substantially completed within the last 5(five) years and that is
similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidders participation
exceeds BDT 20.00(Twenty) Lakh. In case of Joint venture, one partner must meet the
requirement.
·
Minimum, Average Annual construction
turnover of BDT. 40.00(forty) Lakh, calculated as total certified payments
received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3(three). In
case of joint venture, all partners combined must meet the requirement, each
partner must meet 25% of this requirement and one partner must meet 40% of the
requirement.

Should fulfill requirement of
financial resources as mentioned in the Bidding documents.

National
competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible
source countries.
5.

Director, PSSWRSP,LGED,HQ,RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka/ (g) Upazila
Engineer, Dawarabazar Sunamgonj, requesting the bidding Documents for
Constriction of works mentioned above.
·
Pay a Non-refundable fee in favor of Executive
Engineer, LGED, Sunamgonj as mentioned above.
·
Approach the above mentioned offices
until the bid submission deadline to purchase the bidding Documents.
7.
Deliver
your bid:
a.
To the Office of the Executive
Engineer, LGED, Sunamganj (Principal).
b.
On or before the deadline
: 30.07.2015 at time : 12.00 Noon.
c.
Together with a Bid Security in the
amount indicated in the bidding document.
8.
Bids
will be opened on 30.07.2015 at 12.05 PM in the office of the Executive
Engineer, LGED, Sunamganj
9.
The Employer
reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding
process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby
incurring any liability to Bidders In case of annulment, all bids
submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the
Bidders.
