2. The Local
Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the Construction of (i) Bahadurpur khal Regulator
(2v-1.50m x 1.80m) (ii) WMCA Office
including Rain Water Harvesting, Electrification & Office Furniture works
under Gopinathpur Beel Subproject{SP-45209(IFAD-1)}, Upazila: Harirampur, District:
Manikganj.
3. Only eligible
bidders meeting the qualification criteria stated in the bidding document,
including the following key criteria may
participate in this bidding, either as a single entity or in Joint Venture.
·
Participation
in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially comleted
within the last 5(five) years and that
is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidders participation
exceeds BDT 100.00 (One hundred) lakh. In case of joint venture, one partner
must meet the requirement;
·
Minimum
Average Annual Construction Turnover of
BDT 145.00 ( One hundred forty
five) Lakh, calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in
progress or completed, within the last
3(three) years. In case of joint venture, all partner combined must meet
the requirement, each partner must meet 25% of this requirement and one partner
must meet 40% of the requirement.

fulfill the requirement of financial
resoures as mentioned in the bidding documents.
·

qualification criteria are described in the bidding document.
4. National
competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and
is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries

of Police, Manikganj or (e) Project Director, PSSWRSP,LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban
(Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka or (f) Upazila Engineer, Harirampur, Manikganj
requesting the bidding documents for
Construction works as mentioned above.

pay
a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer,LGED,Manikganj as
mentioned above
7. Delivery of the bids in the final IFT:
·
to
the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Manikgonj
·
on
or before the deadline: date: 22, December, 2015 at time : 12:00 Noon.
·
together
with a Bid Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document
8. Opening of
the bids in the final IFT:
Bids will be opened on 22, December, 2015 at 12:05 PM
in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Manikganj
9. The
Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the
bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without
thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids
submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the
Bidders.
