1. |
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB)
towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water
Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for
payments under the contract named
above. Bidding is open to bidders from
ADB member countries. |
|
2. |
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the Construction of RCC Lined Canal under Fulbari –Sheikh Badha Subproject {(SP- 24136) (ADB)} Upazila: Debigonj,
District: Panchagarh. |
|
3. |
Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated
in the bidding documents, including the following key criteria, may
participate in this bidding, either as a single entity of in Joint Venture. |
|
|
·Participation
in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially
completed within the last 5 (five) year and that is similar to the proposed
works, where the value of the Bidders’s participation exceeds BDT 11.00 (Eleven) lakh. In case of
joint venture, one partner must meet the requirement. |
|
|
·Minimum average
annual construction turnover of BDT 28.00 (Twenty eight) lakh. Calculated as total certified
payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3
(three) years. In case of joint
venture, all partner combined must meet the requirement, each partner must
meet 25% of this requirement and one partner must meet 40% of the requirement. |

·Should
fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding
documents. |
|
|
·Complete
qualification criteria are described in the bidding document. |
|
4. |
National competitive biding
will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop
procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries. |

5. |

The Employer reserves the right
to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all
bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any
liability to Bidders, In cases of annulment, all bids submitted and
specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders. |
