  1. The Government of the Pieople’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost participatory Smal Scale water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP), part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract name above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member contries.

 

  1. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) infites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Re-Section and protection of Embankment at Ch. 0+000km to 0+165km Hialar Beel Subproject { SP-25207 (ADB)}, Upazila: Mithapukur, District: Rangpur. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:

 

    • best 3 (three) years average annual construction turnover not less than taka 58.60 lakh in the last 5 years.
    • Minimum 5(five) years general construction experience.
    • Minimum specific experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract of Taka BDT 10.50 lakh.
    • Liquid assets in terms of cash/line credit at least BDT 9.76 lakh
    • Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete vibrator and plate compactor must have in his possession either owner of leased.
    • The bidder should have experienced construction manager

·         Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Rangpur as mentioned above.

·         Deadline for purchasing Bidding Documents on or before 05.00 PM dated : 29-02-2012

 

  1. Deliver your bid :

·         to the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Rangpur (Principal)

·         on or before the deadline : 01-03-2012 at time: 01.00 PM

·         together with a Bid Security of Tk. 33000.00

 

  1. Bids will be opened on 01.05 PM dated: 01-03-2012 in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGEd, Rangpur.

 

  1. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract awared without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. in case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
