1.         The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

 

2.         The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Header Tank (size: 6.1mx3.0m) and Burried Pipe Networks System under Gosinga-Shitalakhya CAD Subproject (SP-41008) Upazila: Sreepur, District: Gazipur.

 

3.         Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding :

            ● 3(three) years minimum average annual construction turnover shall be BDT 402.00 Lakh

               (Four Hundred and Two Lakh)

            ● Minimum 5(five) years general construction experience.

            ● Experience in similar contract individually at least BDT 322.00 Lakh (Three Hundred and Twenty Two Lakh)

            ● Liquid Assets in terms of cash/line credit at least BDT 68.00 Lakh (Sixty Eight Lakh)

            ● Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete vibrator and plate compactor (2 Nos. each)

               must have in its possession either owned or leased.

4.         To obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents, bidders should contact.

            ● Pay a non-refundeble fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Gazipur as mentioned above.

6.         Deliver your bid:

            ● to the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Gazipur (Principal)

            ● on or before the deadline: date: 07-03-2012 at time: 12:00PM

            ● together with a Bid Security of BDT 9,60,000.00 (Nine lakh Sixty thousand) in favour of Executive
    Engineer, LGED, Gazipur.

 

7.         Bids will be opened on 07-03-2012 at 12:05PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Gazipur.

 

8.         The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
