This Invitation for Tenders
follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in Bangladesh
News Papers ‘’The Daily Independent and Daily Destiny “on 04 April

4. Tenders will be invited through the International
Competitive Bidding limiting to member countries (ICB/MC) procedures specified
in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines
June 2005: Procurement of Goods and works open to all Tenderer from Member
Countries as defined in the Tender Documents.
5. Interested eligible Tender’s may obtain further information
and inspect the Tender Documents from , Executive Engineer, LGED, District:
6. Qualification
requirements include average annual construction turnover for the last five
years, experience of one similar nature of works completed within the last five
years, equipment, key personnel, liquid assets and legal status of the Tender
and each partner of the joint ventures as stated in the Tender documents. A
margin of seven and half percent domestic preference for eligible national
Tenderers / joint venture of national Tenderers shall be applied.
7. A Pre-bid conference will be held on

0851-58145, of a non refundable fee of
Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) 8000.00(Eight thousand only) per set. The method
of payment will be in the form of Pay Order/Bank Draft in favour of the Executive Engineer LGED, District: Comilla,
Bangladesh. The Tender Documents will be sent by personally or by
registered mail or by courier services.
9. Tenders must be

accompanied by a Tender Security in the form of Unconditional
and irrevocably Bank Guarantee/Pay Order/Demand

accept or reject any or all Tender without assigning any reason.
