Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the Construction of
(i) Nabinpur Khal Regulator (3V-1.5mx1.8m), (ii) Nabinpur Foot Bridge at Ch. 1+170 km, (iii)
Nabinpur Foot Bridge at Ch. 2+450 km, (iv) Pipe Culvert at Ch. 0+500 km, (v)
Pipe Culvert at Ch. 1+000 km, (vi) Pipe Culvert at Ch. 1+500 km, (vii) Pipe
Culvert at Ch. 2+000 km, (viii) Pipe Culvert at Ch. 2+500 km, (ix) WMCA Office,
(x) Rain Water Harvesting of WMCA Office, (xi) Electrification work of WMCA
Office, (xii) Supply of Office Furniture for WMCA Office & (xiii)
Preparation Tender Document under Nabinpur Dholar Beel Subproject (SP-42017),
Upazila: Gangni, District: Meherpur.
3. Only eligible
bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:
·
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT)
shall be BDT 82.00
(Eighty two lakh) in last 3 (three) years.
·
Minimum 5 (five) years General
Construction experience.
·
Experience in Similar Contract Individually of at
least one contract of value BDT 61.00 (Sixty one lakh) in last 5 (five) years.
·
Liquid Assets in terms of
cash/line credit at least BDT 21.00 (Twenty one lakh).
·
Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete
vibrator and plate compactor must have in his possession either owner or
leased.
·
The bidder should have experienced Construction
Manager.

5. To purchase the bidding documents in

Meherpur (Principal)/ Executive Engineer, LGED, Chuadanga/Office of the Deputy
Commissioner/Police Super, Meherpur/PD, PSSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban
(Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka/Upazila Engineer Office, Gangni, Meherpur requesting
the bidding documents for Construction of works mentioned above.
·
pay a non-refundable fee in
favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Meherpur as mentioned above.
·
Deadline for purchasing Bidding Documents: 02-10-2012, Time:
05:00 PM (Office time).
6. Deliver your bid:
·
to the office of the Executive
Engineer, LGED, Meherpur. (Principal).
·
on or before the deadline:
date: 03-10-2012 at time : 12:00 PM.
·
together with a Bid Security of BDT 3,00,000.00 (Three lakh) in favour of
Engineer, LGED, Meherpur.

7. Bids will be opened on 03-10-2012 at
12:05 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Meherpur.
8. The Employer reserves the right to
accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids
at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to
Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid
securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
