1. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

2. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the (a) Construction of WMCA Office including Electrification, Office Furniture & Tender Preparation work under Ratan Danra (Sadokhali to Jhanjania) Subproject (SP-42026), Upazila: Raninagar, District: Naogaon. (b) Construction of (i) WMCA Office (12.0mx6.0m), (ii) Rain Water Harvesting of WMCA Office, (iii) Electrification work of WMCA Office, (iv) Supply of Office Furniture for WMCA Office & (v) Tender Documentation work under Atrai-Burigang Subproject (SP-43042), (FAD-1) Upazila: Atrai, District: Naogaon.

3. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:

· Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT) shall be BDT 18.00 (One Eighteen lakh) for each work in last 3 (three) years.

· Minimum 5 (five) years General Construction experience.

· Experience in Similar Contract Individually of at least one contract of value BDT 12.00 (Twelve lakh) for each work in last 5 (five) years.

· Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.

4. National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
