01. The Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidders is open to Biders is from ADB member countries.

02. The Local Government Engineering Department(LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Regulator on Nalidon Khal & WMCA Office including Electrification, Office Furniture & Tender Preparation work under mention Sub-Project, in Barguna District.

03. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualification for each Packages may perticipate in this bidding.

a. Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover (AACT) shall be BDT 21.00(Twenty one) lakh in last 3 (Three) years.

b. Minimum 5 (Five) years General Construction experience.

c. Experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract of value BDT 12.00(Twelve) lakh in last 5(Five) years.

d. Liquid Assets in terms of cash at least BDT 3.50 (Three Lakh Fifty Thousand) lakh.

e. Equipments like concrete mixture machine, concrete vibrator and plate compactor must have in his possession either owner or leased.

f. The bidder should have experienced Construction Manager.

04. To obtion further information and inspect the bidding documents, bidders should contract.

05. To purchage the bidders documents in English, eligible bidders should:

a. write to Office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Barguna (Principal)/Office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Patuakhali/Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Barguna/The Superindent of Police, Barguna/PD, PSSWRSP, LGED, H/Q, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5) Agargaon, Dhaka/Upazila Engineer Office, LGED, Betagi, Barguna requesting the bidding documents for Construction of works mentioned above.

b. Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Barguna as mentioned above.

c. Deadline for purchasing Bidding Documents 18-03-2013, Time : 05:00 PM(Office hour).

06. Deliver your bid:

a. To the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Barguna. (Principal).

b. on or before the deadline : Date : 19-03-2013, Time : 01:00 PM.

c. together with a Bid Security of BDT 40,000.00 (Forty Thousand) in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Barguna.

07. Bids will be opened on 19-03-2013 at 03.00 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Barguna.

08. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly retumed to the bidders.
