Government of the people’s Repulblic of Bangladesh has Received a loan from the Asian Develpoment Bank (ADB) towards the cost of participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for paymets under the contract name above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member Countries.

The Local Government Engineer Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of  RCC Lined Canal(L = 900m) including 2 nos cross drain Shialichhara Subproject (SP -23072), Upazila: Gowaighat, District : Sylhet.

 

3.

Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following key criteria, may participate in this bidding.

 

  • Average annual construction turnover not less than Taka 52.00 lakh in the last 3 years.
  • Minimum 5 (five) years genaral construction experience for at least the last 05(five) years to the bidders submission deadline.
  • Minimum specific experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract within the last 5(five) years each with a value of at least Taka BDT 19.50 lakh.
  • Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the Bidding documents para 2.3.3 in section-3.

To purchase the bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

·         Write to Office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet (Principal)/ Office of the Superintending Engineer, LGED, Sylhet Region, Sylhet/Executive Engineer, LGED, Moulvibazar/Office of the Deputy Commissioner/Police Super, Sylhet./ PD, PSSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka/Upazila Engineer Office, Gowainghat, Sylhet. requesting the bidding documents for Constriction of works mentioned above.

·         Pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet mentioned above.

·         Approach the above mentioned offices untill the bid submission deadline.

Deliver your bid:

  • to the office of the Excutive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet (Pricipal).
  • on or before the deadline 16-03-2014, at time : 12.00 Noon.

Bids will be opened on 12.05 PM date: 16-03-2014  in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Sylhet.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award,without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids Submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the bidders.
