Request for Expression of Interest
For
Selection of Individual Consultant
The Ministry of Agriculture
has received a public funds from the Government of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh (GOB) toward the cost of
“Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training on Applied Nutrition
(BIRTAN) " and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds under
the contract for the provision of consultancy services for the project by
individual consultants as given below:

Junior Electrical Engineer |
1(One) |
Electrical
site supervision of high-rise Building., performing electrical analysis of
different types of existing buildings,
identifying electrical problem & providing solution; electrical planning, design, estimating,
etc of multistoried building. |
a) Should have B.Sc. in
Electrical Engineering from any reputed University with at least 7 years of
overall experience, out of which 5 years specific experience in the relevant
field of assignment . -
b)
Should have sound knowledge on Sub-station, Generator, BBT installation; fire
detection, HVAC, Surge protection device, Stage lighting and Sound system,
Conference & PA system, Access control system, networking system etc. c)Should have knowledge on using standard code of
practice i.e. BNBC, IEC, IEE, NFPA etc.
c) Computer proficiency in
Auto CAD, MS word, excel, power point etc. |
The Superintending Engineer (Technical Support), LGED now invites
eligible applicants to apply for the positions mentioned above. Interested
applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are
qualified to perform the services (Complete CV with other details as required
as per the Application Forms).
Consultants will be selected using the selection of individual consultant
sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected
that the services will commence on 1st November, 2018 as Specified
in TOR. Age of the applicant: Not exceeding 40 years.
A complete set of “Request for Application” including Terms of Reference
may be obtained from the office of the undersigned up to 17.09.2018 during
normal office hours.
Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 2.00pm on 18.09.2018 in
sealed envelope delivered to the office of The Superintending Engineer
(Technical Support), level-7, RDEC Bhaban, LGED Agargaon, Dhaka-1207 and be
clearly marked “Request for Expression of
Interest for Selection of
Construction Supervision Engineer as Individual Consultant”.
The authority reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all EOIs without assigning any reason.
