Request
for Expression of Interest (EOI)
For
Selection of Individual Consultant: 2 (Two) Posts.
EOI Ref No: LGED/DU/D-93(Part-2)/2012/798 Date: 03/11/2013
The Chief Engineer, LGED has been allocated public funds from the Government of the Peoples
Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) toward the cost of the Professional services of
LGED, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds to payments
under the contract for the provision of consultancy services for the project by
individual consultant- i) 3D Modeller,
ii) Architectural CAD Operator.
The
qualifications and experience of the Consultants required for the assignment are
as follows:
3D Modeller
The primary
objectives of this assignment is to prepare 3D Models using 3D-studio Max, Sketch up & Revit
Architecture for Architectural Drawings of various buildings, auditoriums,
Memorials, functional buildings, cyclone shelters, markets etc. in consultation
with LGED officials and other professionals.

the Service: 24 Months
c) Educational
Qualification
· Diploma in Civil/Architecture or Equivalent; or Certificate in Civil/Architectural Drafting or Equivalent from any recognized Institution of Bangladesh.
d) Experience
& adequacy for the assignment:
·
Must
have at least 5 (Five) years working experience in different organization relating to similar assignment.
·
Should
have sound knowledge on CAD drawing, plan, section, perspective view, working
drawing of Building and other infrastructure.
e) Suitability:
· Computer proficiency in 2D & 3D Modeling by the application of appropriate software including AutoCAD, Photoshop CS and Rivet Architecture/Ketchup/ 3D-Studio Max, Sketch up & Rivet Architecture for Architectural Drawings of various buildings, auditoriums, Memorials, functional buildings, cyclone shelters, markets etc.
· Training in relevant area.
For outstanding Candidate the
experience criteria may be relaxed.
Architectural
CAD Operator
The primary
objectives of this assignment is a) To improve the LGED capacity to Assist the
preparation of Computer aided drawing for Building, Bridge & other
Structure
a) No. of the Post: One
b) Duration of the Service: 24 Months
c) Educational Qualification
Diploma in Civil/Architecture
or Equivalent from any recognized Institution of Bangladesh.
d) Experience & adequacy for the assignment:
·
Should
have 5 (Five) years experience in different organization relating to similar
assignment.
·
Should
have sound knowledge on CAD drawing, plan, section, perspective view, working
drawing of Building and other infrastructure.
e) Suitability:
(i)
Computer
proficiency in 2D Drafting by the application of appropriate software Auto CAD.
(ii)
Training
in relevant area etc.
For outstanding Candidate the
experience criteria may be relaxed.
The Superintending Engineer (Design) LGED now invites eligible
Applicants to apply for the positions. Applicants are invited to provide
information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services
(complete CV with other details as required as per the Application Forms).
Consultant will be selected using the
selection of individual consultant sub-method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that
the services will be commenced after the
signing of contract.
Interested Candidates are requested to submit
their expressions of interest in accordance with the standard Application Forms
(PS4, August 2009, Standard Request for Application) which may be obtained from
the office of the undersigned during normal office hours. A complete set of
“Request for Application” including Term of Reference may also be obtained from
the office of the undersigned.
Expressions of Interest shall be submitted by 2.00 PM on 20/12/2013, in
sealed envelope delivered to Superintending Engineer (Design), LGED and
be clearly marked “Request for Expressions of Interest for
Selection of Individual
Consultant.
The
Client reserves the right to accept or reject any/all Expression of Interest
(EoI).
