Rajbari District stands on the Bank of the river Padma and Hori, Chandona & Gorai. It is located at 22º 40׳-50” N 89º 19׳-40” S. Rajbari was established in Eighteenth Century. Rajbari was declared as a district in 1st March of 1984. Rajbari district was named by King Surja Kumar who was Jaminder of Lakkhikol estate.
