INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
20.	Eligibility of Applicant	a) Valid Trade License, Tax Identification Number (TIN) with up-to-date income tax clearance certificate, VAT Registration Certificate with up-to-date VAT clearance certificate etc. b) The minimum period of general experience of the applicant in the construction works shall be 5 (Five) years. The required number of similar contract constructed over a period of last 10 (Ten) years shall be at least 1(one) construction contract of 5 km 2 lane road on soft soil including marshy land in a single contract that have been successfully constructed. The similarity shall be based on the physical size, complexity, methods/technology or other characteristics, A minimum number of 2(two) construction experience in Deep pilling works with rotary drill and Concrete mixing plants. c) The similar work experience certificate shall be government work (private or non-government work certificate is not acceptable). d) The required average annual construction turnover shall be minimum BDT 60 (Sixty) crore over the last 5 years. e) The minimum Tender capacity shall be BDT 80(Eighty) crore equivalents. f) The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be BDT30(Thirty) crore
21	Brief Description of Works	Construction of Khulna Coal Based Power Plant Connecting Road from Khulna-Mongla Highway at Babubari in Rampal Upazila under Bagerhat District, which includes the foundation treatment of soft soil, embankment preparation, 2 Lane pavement work , slope protection work, Bus Bay and passenger sheds, construction of 4 Lane bridges and culverts and road safety works.
