INFORMATION FOR TENDERER
23.				Eligibility of Tenderer				1. General and overall experience in construction business minimum 10(ten) years including incorporation certificate, up to date Trade License, VAT & IT certificate. 2. Tenderer having record of poor performance such as abandoning or not completing the contract, inordinate delay, defective or poor workmanship, financial failures, wasteful claims, consistent history of litigation, debarred by any public sector organization shall not be considered in Technical evaluation. 3. The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor shall be 10 (ten) Years (years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the Newspaper) 4. The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor in construction works under public sector of at least 1(One) contract of Pre-stressed Concrete Girder bridge of minimum length 300m with minimum span length 35m & minimum 1200mm dia deep bored Pile foundation constructed over river i.e. contract of similar nature, complexity and methods/construction technology successfully completed within the last 10 (Ten) years, with a value of at least Tk.41,00,00,000.00 (Forty One Crore only). (years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the Newspaper) [While earlier JV works experience is submitted as a specific experience by a firm and when JV works cannot be separated among the partners (i)A firm’s experience as a Lead partner will be considered 100% if the business share of the Lead Partner not less than 40% otherwise experience will be considered as business share (ii) A firm’s experience as Other Partner/Partners will be considered as business share but not more than 50%.] 5. The required average annual construction turnover i.e. total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed under public sector from respective procuring entity shall be greater than Tk.55,00,00,000.00 ( Fifty Five crore only) over the last 5(Five) years. (years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the Newspaper). 6. The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tender shall be Tk.14,00,00,000.00 (Fourteen Crore only). (Bank Statement / credit line(s) issued by any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh not earlier than 28 (twenty-eight) days prior to the day of the original deadline for submission of Tenders for the Contract) [credit line(s) issued by any scheduled Bank of Bangladesh in the format as specified Form (PW3-7) without any alteration, credit facilities should be substantiated by credit sanction letter and bank statement] 7. Tenderer must own Concrete Batching Plant and Hydraulic Rotary Rig. 8. Tenderer failure to submit relevant and acceptable Method Statement including Safety Procedures in the Technical Proposal may not be considered for Financial Evaluation. 9. Brief Description of Works				●Total Length of Structure: 405.40m (9 spans) main bridge. ● Span length 45.00m each. ● Approach Road 365m ● RCC Deck Slab with 7.3m clear width (out to out distance 9.80m) having walk way on both side. ● RCC deep bored pile foundation having 1000mm (min.) dia for abutment (L=40m) while 1200mm dia for pier pile (L=45m & 52m) ● Reinforced Earth Retain Structure with Hexagonal Shaped Pre-cast Concrete Panel. ● Safety measures for marine traffic, Bridge Lighting and Electrical Works.
