Subject: Addendum in Technical Specification of Total Station for IFT no LCB/07/2010-2011

                (Reference: Pretender meeting held on 28.06.2011)

 

According to ITT 11 of Tender document, we would like to make following addendum in Section -7: Technical Specification of Total Station as follows:

On Board software shall have the ability to download and upload data, setting out curve & spiral parameters on site.

 

Mapping Software Package:

 

a)         Can support file formats generated from different brands of total station, also compatible Dumpy/Auto Level, Theodolite, Tacheometer, etc.

 

b)         Can support ASCII, DXF, DWG format, Create either 2D or 3D model raster references.

 

c)         Can generate contour at user defined interval useful for generating HFL contour maps for any type of survey (random, radial, grid etc.)

 

d)         Can generate longitudinal and cross-sections from XYZ or chainage, offset and level. Inbuilt section editing and compensation interface for sections for better controls.

 

e)         Auto creation of plan with features, colors, hatch and symbols for cadastral, route, pipeline, city and revenue surveys with interactive traverse adjustment.

 

‘Data processing licensed  software for individual machine suitable for PC uses’ instead of ‘Mapping Software Package’

 

f)          Auto-detection of existing road for overlay construction & auto-calculation of PCC (Profile Corrective Course) with multi-layer PCC support and depth based PCC application. Suitable for Design and actual quantity calculation for RA bill preparation along with User configurable report and pre-formatted reports for scarification, dismantling, excavation, PCC, length, area, volume etc.

 

 

The software, supplied with the individual machine, shall confirm to the field level survey requirements and be suitable for extensive application of processing the survey data and report preparation as well. A software demonstration is solicited before the signing of contract.

O & M Training :

This bid shall include the services of the technician for a period of at least 6 (six) days to train the operators for operation and maintenance of these units at suppliers stack yard, Dhaka.  Purchaser’s nominated at least 110 (One hundred ten) technical staffs shall be trained up so that they can be able to perform survey works and data processing independently with the Total station. The bidder shall implement the training program by using the supplied Total Station and software packages, with the help of their own technical experts, manufacturer’s trained engineers etc. The cost of these services shall be included in the bid price but will not be paid as a separate item.

 

 

 

… The tender shall also include the services of two technical persons nominated by the purchaser for at least a period of 5(five) working days for training before delivery regarding operation and maintenance of equipments in the Manufacturer’s country (if supplied from outside the purchaser’s country) preferably within the pre-shipment period. The trained persons shall be able to act as trainers to train the operators in the operation and maintenance of these units. The cost of these services shall be included in the tender price but not paid as a separate item.

 

 

O & M Training:

 

Includes both Local Training of at least 110 technical staffs for at least 6 days and Overseas training of two technical personnel for at least five days. The cost of these services shall be included in the tender price but not paid as a separate item.

 

 

The addendum shall be considered as a part of the Tender document. All other terms and condition of the Tender document shall remain the same.
