Brief Description of the Assignment |
Preparation
of Detail Structural Design, Estimate, Technical specification and Standard
Tender Document & Sub-soil Investigation for the Construction of 780m long Bridge
over Kachipara Karkhana River in between Barisal & Patuakhali District.
A copy of Hydrological and Morphological
Study Report & Navigational clearence from BIWTA shall made available to
the potential firms. Main Assignment (a)
Conducting
Detail Digital Topographical survey of the bridge site. (b) Conducting
Detail Sub-soil Investigation (SPT&CPT). (c) Preparation
of Details Structural Design of the bridge. (d) Environmental
study & collecting clearance from DoE shall be conducted. (e) Preparation
of design of approach / access road, river training work, Bank Revetment,
lighting of bridge and drainage system of approach / access road if required. (f) Preparation
of cost estimate & BOQ of Bridge Structures including approach / access road, river training work,
Bank Revetment, lighting of bridge and drainage system of approach / access
road if required. (g) Preparation
of complete set of Tender Documents for bridge following PPR-2008 and Standard
Tender document. (h) Preparation
of land acquisition plan for Approach road . (i) Preparation
of technical specification. (j) Detail
design calculation should be submitted. |

Minimum Experience |
(a)
The interested consulting firm should have
experience of conducting detail planning
and design of at least 2(two) numbers pre-stressed concrete bridge having
minimum 500.00m length (each) with individual clear span not less than 50.00m
(b)
The consulting firm should have experience of conducting of Environmental
study of the similar nature of bridge
. |

Required Documents |
The EOI shall be submitted along with the
following documents. (a) Registration
of the individual/JV firm, brochures
etc. (b) List of similar nature of completed
works during last 5 (Five) years including assignment name with brief
description /contract date/ completion date & other relevant information.
(c) Organizational information, list of
professional & general manpower with qualification & experience
detail in permanent payroll . (d) Availability of resources &
logistics. (e) Turnover of last 05 (five) years. (f) Evidence (Experience Certificate, Contact Agreement etc.) of minimum
experience as stated in Sl No .17 |

Other Information |
a)
Consulting firm
will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
Procurement Rules-2008 (PPR-2008). b)
Interested
consulting firms may obtain further information during 09.00AM to 05.00PM
excepting Government holiday. c)
Final design
should be approved by the PD office in collaboration with LGED design unit. d)
Several power
point presentation shall be conducted at different key stages of works. e)
Sub-contractor/consultant
for Sub-soil investigation and Digital Topographical Survey shall be approved by the PD Office and
Design Unit of LGED. |
