The Project Director, Rural Infrastructure Development Project : Chittagong Hill Tracts-2^nd Phase, now invites eligible Applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services for supervision work of Roads, RCC & PC Girder Bridges to be constructed in three districts like; Rangamati, Khagrachari & Bandarban.

Road & Bridge Supervision and Quality Assurance Engineer

B. Sc Or Diploma in Civil Engineering from any reputed University

· The position will be located in the road & bridge construction site. The duty of consultant would be monitor and supervise the civil works during implementation period in order to ascertain whether the work progressed as per structural design, drawing and specification as well as assure quality of physical works by taking full responsibility. · Prepare construction sequence, checking of fabricating placing & binding and fixing reinforcement. · Attend in all RCC casting work and also assist LGED in contract administer and implementing the bridge & road construction work. · Assist to prepare Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement and recommend for approval, if required.

· Must have BSc. Engineering degree with 10(Ten) years overall and at least 05(Five) years relevant working experience Or Must have Diploma Engineering degree with 15(Fifteen) years overall and at least 10(Ten) years relevant experience, i.e planning, monitoring and supervision of RCC & PSC bridges (Foundation, substructure & superstructures) and other related structures like road works, bank protection works, road protection works and retaining wall etc. · Should have good knowledge on various types of bridge structural system (Beam/Girder bridge, Arch bridge, Rigid frame bridge, Arch-Beam bridge, Pre-stressed bridge etc.). · Should have also experience in road construction & supervision works. · Should have sound knowledge on using standard code of practice AASHTO, IRC etc. for analysis and design of bridges. · Computer proficiency in MS Project, estimating software.
