The
primary objective of the assignment is to assist LGED Barisal, Gopalgonj and Patuakhali to
construct its Buildings following Bangladesh National Building Code and
practices. The assignment also includes the responsibility for ensuring the plumbing related tasks including support of new buildings perform safely,
effectively and efficiently. The services include but shall not remain
limited to the review of design, supervision of construction works, quality
control and monitor the project in all respect. Review building plans and
specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and piping system of
sanitary waste, out-let, storm, domestic water distribution systems and
related materials with an understanding of fire protection systems including
installation of electrical accessories like AC, Generator, Lift etc. |

EXPERIENCE & SUITABILITY: (Senior
Building Supervision Engineer) a)
Educational Qualification · B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
from any reputed University; b)
Experience & Adequacy
for the assignment: · Shall have working
experience of minimum 15 (fifteen)
years in the relevant field of assignment i.e. planning, monitoring,
supervision of multi-storied frame structured building construction with RCC
pile foundation or basement foundation, sound knowledge on quality control
and material testing, experience in domestic plumbing system including
sanitary waste, out-let, storm, domestic water distribution systems for
building projects etc; · Should have knowledge on
using standard code of practice i.e. ASTM, ACI, BNBC etc.; c)
Suitability · Training in relevant area
etc.; • The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
with strong leadership skills; · Computer proficiency; •
For outstanding candidate the experience criteria may be relaxed. |

experience of minimum 05 (five) years for B.Sc. Engineer or working experience of minimum 15 (fifteen) years
for Diploma Engineer in the
relevant field of assignment i.e. planning, monitoring, supervision of
multi-storied frame structured building construction with RCC pile foundation
or basement foundation, sound knowledge on quality control and material
testing, experience in domestic plumbing system including sanitary waste,
out-let, storm, domestic water distribution systems for building projects
etc; · Should have knowledge on
using standard code of practice i.e. ASTM, ACI, BNBC etc.; c)
Suitability • Training in relevant area; • Computer proficiency in
estimating software. • For outstanding candidate the experience criteria
