Senior Supervision Engineer- 04 (Four)
Posts |
The Primary objects of this assignment is
supervision of periodic maintenance, rehabilitation, widening of Road and
reconstruction of flood damaged RCC/PC girder bridges, slab bridge, culvert,
bank protection work, road site slope protection work etc. in consultation
with LGED official and other professionals. The Consultant will review and
comment on the appraisal report for
bridge length <100 meter and provide data, drawing as well as necessary
support to LGED Engineer for planning, drawing, supervision & monitoring
of bridges. |

a)
Educational
Qualification : Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from any reputed
University. b) Experience
& adequacy for the assignment: ·
Must
have overall working experience of minimum 10 years with at least 8 years
working experience in the relevant field of assignment i.e. planning,
monitoring supervision of road and bridge maintenance projects, RCC culverts
and other related structures like bank protection Works, landing Jetty, road
protective works and retaining wall etc. ·
Should
have knowledge on using standard code of practice i.e. AASHTO, ACI, BNBC
& IRC etc. for structural analysis and supervision of Road and Bridges
and other related structure as stated above. ·
Should
have capability of performing all the specified testing requirements of the
Contracts of various Contractors’ bituminous and concreting work to ensure
that the specified requirements for such standard are fully met. |

AUTOCAD Operator- 01 (One) Post |
The primary objectives of this assignment
are to prepare Drawings, BOQ and Cost Estimate of Road, Bridges, Buildings
and other Civil Engineering Structures in consultation with LGED officials
and other professionals |

a) Educational
Qualification: Diploma Engineering (in any discipline) from any recognized
institution/Certificate in Building & Architectural Drafting course
Completed. b) Experience
& adequacy for the assignment: ·
Diploma in Civil
Engineering from any recognized institution having at least 3-year relevant
working experience in AutoCAD design as a CAD Operator or equivalent position
on highway/rural road projects of similar nature. ·
Independently
Capable in preparing Architectural & Structural drawing, plan, section,
perspective, working drawing, bar bending schedule etc. of road, bridges,
buildings, protective works etc. ·
Computer
proficiency in 2D & 3D modeling by the application of appropriate
software. Employ mathematical formulas to develop design detail that match
design specifications. |

Other Details: It is expected that the
service will be commenced on 1st January 2019 and shall be
completed by 30th June 2020 i.e. duration of service 18 (Eighteen)
months. Interested candidates are requested to submit their expression of interest
in accordance with the standard application Forms (RFA4, Standard Request for
Application) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during
normal office hours (or available in the website: www.Cptu.gov.bd & ww.lged.gov.bd)
. A complete set of “Request for Application” including Terms of reference
also be obtained from the office of the undersigned. |
