1.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of  Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the  contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

2.

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from  eligible bidders for the Construction of  Part:-A Enhancement of Chaklahat  weir (2 Bays converted into gated structure), Part: -B. Construction of Closure Dam (Length 35.00m) and Part:-C. Protective work of 35.00m Closure Dam under Chaklahat Sub-Project (SP- 24155) Upazila:  Sadar, District: Panchagarh.

Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding documents, including the following key criteria, may participate in this bidding.

·

Average Annual Construction Turnover not less than Taka 39.00 lakh in the last 3 years.

·

Minimum 5 (Five) years general construction experience for at least the last 05 (Five) years to the bidders submission deadline.

·

Minimum specific experience in similar contract individually of at least one contract within the last 5 (Five) Years each with a value of at least Taka  BDT 19.50 Lakh.

·

Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents para 2.3.3 in section-3.

Bids will be opened on 16 April’ 2015 at 12.05PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, District: Panchagarh.

 

 

8.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders, In cases of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
