Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Improvement of HBB road from Azad Sikder Bari to Megchami High School &
Hat Connecting road at Ch. 125m to 425m under Megchami khal Subproject
(SP-24181), Upazila: Madhukhali, District: Faridpur.
3. Only Eligible bidders meeting the
qualification criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following
key criteria may participate in this bidding, either as a single entity or in
Joint Venture.
·
Participation in at
least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within
the last 5 (five) years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the
value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds BDT 4.00 (Seven lakh fifty thousand). In case of joint venture, one partner must meet
the requirement;
·
Minimum average annual
construction turnover of BDT 12.00 (Twelve) lakh., calculated as total
certified payments received for contracts
in progress or completed, within the last 3 (three) years. In case of
joint venture, all partners combined must meet the requirement, each partner
must meet 25% of this requirement and one partner must meet 40% of the
requirement.

Should fulfill the
requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.
·

criteria are described in the bidding document.
4. National competitive bidding will be
conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and
is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries

6. To inspect or purchase the
bidding documents in English, eligible bidders should:

(a) Executive Engineer, LGED, Faridpur or (b) Executive Engineer, LGED, Rajbari
or (c) Deputy Commissioner, Faridpur or (d) Superintend of Police, Faridpur or
(e) Project Director, PSSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka
or (f) Upazila Engineer, Madhukhali, Faridpur requesting the bidding documents
for Construction
works as mentioned above.
·
pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer,
LGED, Faridpur as mentioned above.
·
Approach the above mentioned offices until the bid
submission deadline.
7. Deliver your bid:
·
to the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Faridpur.
·
on or before the deadline: date: 28-05-2015 at time : 2:00 PM.
·
together with a Bid
Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document
8.
Bids will be opened on 28-05-2015 at 2:05 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer,
LGED,
Faridpur.
9.
The Employer reserves the right to accept
or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding
process
and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby
incurring
any liability to
Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid
securities,
shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
