1.
The
Government of the People’s Republic of
Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank
(ADB) towards the cost of City Region
Development Project (CRDP) ADB Loan no. 2695 BAN (SF). Part of this
financing will be used for payments under the contract mentioned above. Bidding
is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries of the Asian Development Bank.
2.
The
Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids
from eligible bidder for the procurement of the following works:

3.
National Competitive
Bidding (NCB)
will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single
– Stage: One–Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from
eligible source countries.
4.
The
qualification criteria include the
following:

General
Experience: The Bidder shall have 7
(Seven) years general experience in the supply of goods and related services.
·
Specific Experience: The Bidder
shall have a minimum of Five (5) years
of specific experience in the supply of submersible water pump and related services. The minimum supply value of similar goods
under a single contract over the last five (5) years is Tk. 535.00 Lac.
·
Financial Position: The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital
or credit facility is Tk. 239.00 Lac

Late bids
shall be rejected.
Bids will
be opened at 1:30 p.m. on 31 August 2015 in the presence of the bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at the office of the Superintending
Engineer, Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur. Bid shall be valid for a period of 120
(One hundred and twenty) days after bid opening.
8.
The
Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur will not be responsible for any costs
or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery
of bids.
9.
In the comparison of Bids, ADB’s Domestic
Preference Scheme will not be applied.
10.
The
Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available at the LGED, CPTU and ADB Web Sites
(www.lged.gov.bd, www.cptu.gov.bd
and
www.adb.org).
11.
The
Gazipur City Corporation, Gazipur reserves all the rights to accept any bid or
to reject any or all bids without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
