1. The People's Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards
the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water
Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan
will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.
2. The
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from
eligible Bidders for the Construction of (i) Tulshiganga khal WRS-01 (4V-1.5mx2.0m)
(ii) Tulshiganga khal WRS-02 (3V-1.5mx2.0m) (iii) Irrigation pucca Drain-01
& 02, Total length =245m, (iv) WMCA Office including Rain Water Harvesting,
Electrification & Office Furniture
works under Tulshi trimohini Bhaduria Subproject {SP-46244 (IFAD-1)}, Upazila: Nawabgonj, District: Dinajpur. (Package
No: LGED/PSSW/PD/Nawab/Dinajpur/W-9 /2015)
3. Only eligible bidders meeting the
qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following
key criteria, may participate in this bidding, either as a single entity or in
Joint Venture.
·
Participation
in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed
within the last 5 (Five) years and that is similar to the proposed works where
the value of the bidder`s participation exceeds BDT 200.00(Two hundred) lakh at
(Package No: LGED/PSSW/PD/Nawab/Dinajpur/W-9
/2015) In case of joint venture, one partner must meet the Requirement;
·
Minimum
Average Annual Construction Turnover of BDT 245.00(Two hundred forty five) lakh
at (Package No: LGED/PSSW/PD/Nawab/Dinajpur/W-9 /2015) calculated as total certified
payment received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3
(Three) years. In case of joint venture, all partners combined must meet the
requirement, each partner must meet 25% of this requirement and one partner
must meet 40% of the requirement.

fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding
documents.
·

4. National
competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and
is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries

pay
a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Dinajpur as
mentioned above.

the above mentioned offices until the bid submission deadline for purchasing
Bidding Documents: 07 December 2015,

7. Deliver your bid:

9. The
Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the
bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award,
without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all
bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to
the Bidders.
