1. The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank

(ADB) towards the cost of Participatory Small Scale Water Resources Sector Project (PSSWRSP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries.

2. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligibie

bidders for the Construction of (1) Construction of WMCA Office including Electrification office Furniture under Nandigram-Muragacha Subproject{(SP-45164 (IFAD-2), Upazila: Kumarkhali, District:Kushtia.

3. Only eligible bidders meeting the qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following key criteria, may participate in this bidding:

*3 (three) years minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover shall be BDT 15.00 (Fifteen)

Lakh.

*Minimum 5(five) years general construction experience.

*Experience in similar contract individually at least BDT 10.00 (Ten)Lakh.

*Should fulfill the requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding

documents.

4. National Competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

5. To obtain further information, bidders should contract (from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM):

6. To inspect or purchase the bidding documents (Last Date 25.01.2016 at 5.00 PM) in English, eligible bidders should:

• write to Office of the (a) Executive Engineer, LGED, Kushtia or (b) Executive Engineer, LGED, Jessore or (c) Deputy Commissioner, Kushtia Or (d) Superintend of Police, Kushtia or (e) Project Director, PSSWRSP, LGED, HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka or (f) Superintending Engineer, LGED, Jessore Region, Jessore or (g) Upazila Engineer, Kumarkhali, Kushtia requested the bidding documents for Construction works as mentioned above.
• pay a non-refundable fee in favour of Executive Engnieer, LGED, Kushtia as mentioned above.

7. Deliver your bid :

· to the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Kushtia

· on or before the deadline: date: 26 January 2015 at time :12:00 PM

· together with a Bid Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document

8. Bids will be opened on 26 January 2016 at 12:05 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Kushtia.

9. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
