Department (LGED) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction
of (i) Box Culvert (2v-2.50mx7.00m), (ii) Drainage
Outlet (450mm dia) 6 Nos., (iii) Box Culvert
(2v-4.00mx4.00m), (iv) WMCA Office
(12mx6.0m) including Rain Water Harvesting,
Electrification, Supply of Furniture
of WMCA office iv) Rain water Harvesting of WMCA Office under Anulia Beel – Barnai
River Subproject {(SP-46250)
(IFAD-2)}, under Durgapur Upazila, District: Rajshahi.
3. Only eligible bidders meeting the
qualifications criteria stated in the bidding document, including the following
key criteria, may participate in this bidding, either as a single entity or in
Joint Venture.
·
Participation in at least
one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within the
last 5 (Five) years and that is similar to the proposed works,, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds
BDT 95.00 (Ninety Five) lakh. In case of Joint Venture, one partner must
meet the requirement;
·
Minimum average annual
construction turnover of BDT 112.00 (One Hundred Twelve) lakh, calculated
as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within
the last 3 (Three) years. In case of Joint Venture, all partners
combined must meet the requirement, each partner must meet 25% of the
requirement and one partner must meet 40% of the requirements.

Should fulfill the
requirement of financial resources as mentioned in the bidding documents.
·

criteria are described in the bidding document.
4. National competitive bidding will be conducted
in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: ÒOne Envelop procedureÓ and is open to all Bidders from
eligible source countries.

Director, PSSWRSP, LGED HQ, RDEC Bhaban (Level-5), Agargaon, Dhaka or (f) Superintending Engineer, LGED, Rajshahi Region, Rajshahi or (g) Upazila Engineer, LGED, Durgapur, Rajshahi
requesting the bidding documents for Construction works as mentioned above.
·
pay
a non-refundable fee of BDT 6000.00 (Six
Thousand) in favour of Executive Engineer, LGED, Rajshahi
as mentioned above.
·
Approach the above mentioned offices until the bid
submission deadline.
7.
Delivery/Opening
of bids in the final IFB:
·
to
the office of the Executive Engineer, LGED, Rajshahi.
·
on
or before the deadline: date: 03
February 2016 at time: 12:00 PM
·
together
with a Bid Security in the amount indicated in the bidding document.
8. Bids will be opened on 03 February 2016 at 12:05 PM in the
office of the
Executive Engineer, LGED, Rajshahi.
9. The Employer reserves the
right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject
all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any
liability to Bidders. In case of annulment, all bids submitted and
specifically, bid securities, shall be promptly returned to the Bidders.
